How we prepared for this Pangas Beach Club wedding
We put effort into understanding this wedding before it happened: a moodboard, a planning meeting and communication with Mil Besos.
On the wedding day we got the whole crew and Kristen’s friends excited, and we gave Kristen and Michael our tips and set aside time for their couple session.
Getting ready with her closest friends
Kristen got ready surrounded by her closest friends, so the morning was loud, warm and full of laughing. Michael got ready with friends and family around him.
Kristen and Michael also exchanged gifts while getting ready, and we photographed the small details too: the rings, the invitation, the bouquet and the shoes.

The first look
Kristen and Michael did a first look before the ceremony, and Michael cried.

Two trees at Pangas: where they held the ceremony
Pangas has two trees used for wedding ceremonies, and both are beautiful. Kristen and Michael held their ceremony at the second tree, which left the main tree for the reception and the dance floor.
If you are planning a wedding at Pangas, choose your ceremony spot together with the reception layout, not from a photograph of the backdrop alone.

Sunset portraits at a Pangas Beach Club wedding
The ceremony took place before sunset, which left the sunset itself for portraits, and the sunset was beautiful. We made portraits of the two of them on the sand with the veil catching the last light, and a family portrait near the beach.

Fire dancers, dinner and dancing at a Pangas Beach Club wedding
There were fire dancers, and dinner at Pangas was excellent, as it usually is. The reception and dance floor were set up around the main tree under string lights.

These are some of Kristen’s favorite photographs from the gallery.
What we would tell couples planning a Pangas Beach Club wedding
Four notes drawn from this wedding and from our own time at the venue.
Choose your ceremony tree together with the reception layout.
Pangas has two ceremony trees, and the one you do not use for the ceremony can hold the reception and dance floor.
Hold the ceremony before sunset if you want the sunset for portraits.
Kristen and Michael did, and it left the sunset itself for the two of them.
Leave a few minutes near the beach for a family portrait.
It is one of our favorite photographs from this wedding.
Tell your photographer where the fire dancers will perform.
If you are planning fire dancers, let us know where they will perform so we can be in the right place.
