A park close to home
Italy is full of art. As an Italian girl once told Adri, “Here any church can be a museum!” Erica and Andrea’s session was a chance to photograph a couple there. Andrea is the twin brother of Piero, whom Adri photographed with Camila in Costa Rica (see the Costa Rica story with Piero and Camila).
Part of working as a wedding photographer is making quick decisions under pressure, and Adri’s task in Milan was to find a place that was close, intimate and pretty. Erica recommended this park, near where everyone was and a place the couple visit often, so the photographs could show something from their everyday life and their relationship.
Cloudy light, autumn colors and two minutes of rain
The morning was cloudy, with the colors of autumn and a warmth between the two of them that made the session work. It rained, but only for about two minutes, and it was never something to worry about. With or without rain, a city with so many possibilities was not going to stop the session.
The park was full of dogs, everything felt warm and autumnal, and the session was full of love.
